Júlia is a middle-aged schoolteacher who finds herself increasingly isolated because of her fears and anxieties. When her best friend, Carol, the principal of the school where she works, throws a farewell party, Júlia finds herself forced to attend.

At the party, she meets Renata, the new acting principal, an outgoing and confident woman who awakens a delirious fascination in Júlia. The connection between the two is instant, but Renata’s abusive husband’s return will bring doubts and anxieties to Júlia regarding her new passion. To what extent is the new principal telling the truth, and what mystical secrets is she hiding? These questions will draw the protagonist in, forcing her to take a stand for the first time in her life and confront everything she believed herself to be—and not to be. The screenplay was selected for PANLAB – Panorama Internacional Coisa de Cinema’s Screenwriting Laboratory in 2020 and received consulting from Aleksei Abib, Felipe Scholl, and Viviane Ferreira.
