With 10 years of experience in the Brazilian audiovisual market, Olho de Vidro Produções delivers a wide range of projects, from artistic work in film, music videos, television, and streaming to advertising campaigns, corporate content, and digital marketing. Our goal is to bring a cinematic perspective to every production we create. Throughout our journey, we have built important partnerships with nationally recognized brands, whether through television advertising or digital marketing. Companies such as Perdigão, Neoenergia, Nubank and Santander have trusted us to produce their audiovisual content.
Olho de Vidro has been developing a distinctive cinematic language, with a particular focus on genre film. Exploring comedy, horror, and the fantastic as some of its central interests, the production company’s work draws on elements from these worlds to shed light on issues that resonate with contemporary society. Short films such as "Não Falo com Estranhos” (2017), “Onze Minutos” (2018), “Pelano!” (2019) e “Mamãe!" (2021), have accumulated 62 awards and more than 350 selections at national and international film festivals, such as the Brasília Film Festival, Tiradentes Film Festival, Cine PE, and Panorama Internacional Coisa de Cinema.
As a production company based in Brazil’s Northeast, Olho de Vidro also invests in education, periodically offering independent filmmaking workshops for people who wish to begin exploring the audiovisual language. The company has held two editions of the Independent Film Course and one edition of Matura Cine – Learning Cinema After 50, two initiatives that seek to democratize knowledge of the seventh art across different areas of society.
Olho de Vidro Produções is also one of the production companies behind the six editions of Mostra Lugar de Mulher é no Cinema, a film festival from Bahia that brings together films made by women and non-binary people. In 2022, the company produced the podcast Nosso Cinema, publishing a series of interviews with women filmmakers from Bahia.
