An artist couple, Juliana and Daniel, are trapped in a theater on the opening night of their new play. Amid arguments that push them ever closer to the inevitable end of their relationship, the pair receives a visit from a single audience member, forcing them to perform for a practically empty theater. The boundaries between reality and fiction gradually become blurred as Juliana and Daniel’s art and lives are exposed on stage through spectacularized absurdity. Secrets, lies, and plenty of deception permeate the couple’s dialogue as they remain trapped in the vortex of a toxic relationship, searching for a way out.
A comedy of errors and manners that questions the tradition of marriage and the role of the artist and women in Brazilian society.
