Arthur, Wanda, Victor, Louise, and Paula dream of becoming artists. With few resources but plenty of passion, they decide to pursue a way to make a living as their bills pile up. After unsuccessful ventures in advertising, children’s party entertainment, and independent filmmaking, the group decides to risk their entire future on a show that could change their careers.
The “Vida de Artista” project was selected for Usina do Drama 2020, an extension program at UFBA focused on the training and development of local screenwriters, and received mentorship from professor and screenwriter Amanda Aouad.
